Alan is a performance specialist with extensive experience in creating world class training programmes for teams and leaders.
His innovative approach is the result of a unique background in the military, business and Olympic sport, combined with an education in Psychology. He served as both a Royal Naval and British Army officer (commando qualified), but subsequently educated as a sport psychologist. His range of leadership roles included UK Sport’s High Performance Coaching Manager, supporting teams and coaches in their run up to the last 5 Olympic Games. Since then, he has been working and supporting high performance leaders and teams across a wide range of business sectors and in diverse and challenging environments. Whether it be preparing for the Olympics or optimising a sales team, he has the ability to maximise any team's skills and decision-making through the delivering of quality, tailored training.
Alan’s approach is to create honest partnerships with leaders and their teams to enable the creation of a tailored and dynamic training programme that builds their unique and amazing team. He does that that by designing and delivering workshops and experiences that excite interest, provoke awareness and inspires a personal drive to learn, while engaging the team to support those lessons.
Linda is an experienced and inspirational manager of both teams and businesses.
Her career started in the entertainment industry, rising quickly to senior positions within companies like Time Life, PolyGram and Universal Music, before leading a successful management buyout of a pan-European record label, which she later sold to EMI Records. Within this sector, she was responsible for both start-up divisions and managing existing large, global departments, with teams in more than 40 countries.
Linda left EMI in 2003, making a permanent move to Cornwall with her two small children. Joining forces with a former colleague, they set up and ran their own Cornwall-based marketing company, working with local businesses like St Austell Brewery, Rodda's, and Eden Project. In 2014, Linda left to work as a freelance consultant, working with managers and teams to solve problems, improve performance and maximise growth.
Linda has an ability to understand, motivate and bring together the individuals within teams and this, combined with a shrewd business head and a clarity of vision, has enabled her to make a significant difference to the companies she has worked with.
Andy has spent most of his career working in high performance. As a specialist Firearms Officer and instructor for 18 years, he worked across the UK and globally in a domestic and counter terrorist role. After 30 years as a police officer, he left the Met in 2010. A former international hockey player, since leaving he has managed the England and Great Britain Men’s Hockey Team and coached the England International indoors teams.
Suzy has been helping people to have more successful conversations for the last 15 years through her work as an actor-facilitator and business coach.
Her clients range from GB Olympians, senior civil servants and FTSE 100 leadership teams to global retails brands, leading law firms and multinational pharmaceutical companies. Alongside bespoke role-play, she delivers skills sessions on all aspects of performance management and personal impact.
Suzy trained as a professional actor and enjoyed a stage career combined with comedy writing and performing with a particular skill in penning political satire. She then moved behind the camera as a freelance TV Production Manager controlling multi-million pound documentary budgets to produce content for a global audience (Channel 4, Discovery, National Geographic).
In the training room she delivers with humour, creating a safe space to enable delegates to maximise existing talents and develop a ‘tool kit’ of communication skills for immediate use in the workplace.
